We organised a special art workshop for children undergoing treatment for cancer, to mark International Childhood Cancer Day 2022. This was done at Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai.

This workshop was conducted by Chitra Vaidya who is an accomplished artist and an art teacher. She was assisted by Priti Naik, an art teacher. In addition, several volunteers at Tata Memorial Centre helped in conducting this art workshop. The entire art material required for this art workshop was provided by Art India Foundation.

The children were engrossed in creating their artworks and enjoyed the workshop thoroughly. Some children created hand prints whereas others did drawing and painting using oil pastels.
