Khula Aasmaan was created as a platform for creative expression by children and young adults in 2016. Over the years, it has grown into a vibrant ecosystem which connects with children, young adults, parents and teachers across the length and breadth of India. Khula Aasmaan has been constantly evolving and adding new dimensions to its offerings.
Khula Aasmaan has been organising art contests for all age groups, conducting art workshops, creating educational content in the form of videos and audios and undertaking special projects.
India has a huge talent pool of people who have traditional skills and knowledge which passes from one generation to the next. There are several groups and organisations who are supporting these skilled artisans and helping them in finding opportunities and a market for their creations. We will create visibility for them so that they get better opportunities to market their creations.
Our focus will be on organisations who are working with artisans and craftspersons from rural, remote and tribal areas as well as those from marginalised communities.
Get to know the inspiring stories of several specially abled and divyang (दिव्यांग) persons and the organisations that support them in some ways. Many of them create products that you could buy for yourself or for gifting. When you buy from them, you are supporting their march for self esteem.
